Parish Council Response to Newspaper Article

Some of our residents may have seen articles written about the Parish Council in the Wetherby News. We wish to correct the record, as the articles contained a number of disappointing inaccuracies. Many of you will be aware that we invited comments about community spaces in Thorp Arch. We have listened to both the Village Hall steering group and TABS who are currently looking at options regarding their grounds and facilities. The report in the Wetherby news suggested the Parish Council had invited comments on a development proposal. This is entirely untrue, especially as there isn’t one to comment on.

 TABS future is a matter for them and any resident with any concerns or enquiries about the cricket club should contact them directly.

 The Parish Council has been and will continue to be transparent in all Village matters. We will, as ever, work in the best interests of Thorp Arch and its residents.
